Recorded Memories was born from a deeply personal experience. In 2023, my mother-in-law, Shanna, was diagnosed with cancer. As she bravely fought through remission and recurrence, my wife and I learned we were expecting twins. With her time growing short, Shanna set a goal to meet her grandchildren.

To preserve her presence for our children, I used my background in video interviews to record a heartfelt conversation with Shanna about her life, experiences, and motherhood. That 45-minute recording became an irreplaceable gift—one that our family will treasure forever.
